a glint of disappointment held
beneath the umbrella of his eye.
Lens drawn in closely, I captured
him, bound to high-gloss
paper. Saved to the computer's
system.
He changed his lens a week
ago, but it's out of focus, printing
him an opaque finish.
"I'm taking a break," he spoke,
ink-smeared from the collapse
of the umbrella, the high-gloss
paper waterlogged.
